Ever wonder how a club like ours works? It's led by a Board of Directors
that meets once a month throughout the year-sometimes more often if needed.
Here's what some of our responsibilities include.

Responsibilities of the President
q
Assume responsibility
as Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation/Club
q
Actively encourages and
motivates Board members in the best interests of the Club. Should be a
positive leadership role model.
q
Principle signer of
official Corporation/Club Documents
q
Preside over Board of
Directors meetings as well as annual meetings during his/her term of office.
Maintain order and procedure as described by the Club’s By-laws.
q
Delegate duties and
assignments as appropriate
q
Appoint special
committees/working groups as appropriate
q
With the Clerk, develop
meeting agenda and maintain log of unfinished or continuing business
q
Responsible for
continually “checking the pulse” of the membership and guests, garnering
input that will aid the decision making process. Frequent personal contact
with the membership and guests is expected.
